HL live @ Sunflower Lounge 17th April

April 2nd, 2008

HL Live

Long time friend of Klunk – Hurra Caine Landcrash (aka Dan Hopkins) is playing live in at the Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham. This is to coincide with the release of the fourth HL recording ”Unanswered Questions” on the newish Birmingham label http://www.splitfemurrecordings.com/ . The gig promises some experimental sound scapes captured within a shoe gaze world. I expect the visuals will amaze also!

See you there.

Project X Presents a blog post involving Arcade

January 19th, 2008

I have offered my services to Project X Presents for their the show they are putting on during Feb (22nd to be precise). As part of the marketing of the event I was asked by Rob from PXP to send some history and a photo. I duely obliged spending an hour or so writing up the stuff I remembered doing. This then turned into a series of emails back and forth as Rob generated something snappy which captures the essence of the last 7 years worth of Arcade work.

We then agreed that this would make for an interesting article which may help others writing marketing material for themselves or other artists.

The email trail can be found here: http://www.projectxpresents.com/node/128

Masala Parlour Video from 2002

December 31st, 2007

I just stumbled upon this video shot and created by Leon at Patrick Kavanaghs in Moseley…The video reminded me of the argument held about the noise with the management (watch out for the very angry man). Needless to say they didn’t ask us to return.

Sorry PK.
