Making your weblog mobile device friendly is becoming an important issue as the proliferation mobile devices accessing the internet is growing as an exponential rate. Therefore folk running websites and (in this case) weblogs need to ensure that their content can be viewed on the move. Therefore I am writing this entry to advise others how I am attempting to bridge the portable divide.
I have just read an interesting article by Andrew Dubber: http://newmusicstrategies.com/2008/03/23/michael-arrington-is-not-an-idiot/ which I felt compelled to comment against and have continued thinking about. To this end I wanted to continue the conversation here an expand on my thoughts a little.
The klunk.org podcast has been mentioned in Rich Batsfords recent "Ten Brilliant Podcasts from Birmingham" list. Have a look at the list and listen to the pods, being as it may open up a whole bunch of new music.

In this ever expanding world of quality RSS feeds I am finding it increasingly more difficult to consume them in a friendly (to me) way. To date I have relied upon a customised google homepage (www.google.com/ig) and this seems to meet my needs pretty well, however the once you have added a bunch you end up with something like this:
This is all well and good, however you can probably see that the content goes off the page and is not organised in ayway apart from by feed.
The real benefit of using this system is that being as this is my hompage on a number of computers it does not need another application open (like Outlook) to gather the information.
So if you use another web based tool, which allows you to consume feeds, organise them how you see fit and have decent web searching capabilities please let me know – because I have a feeling the grass may be greener.
I have decided to place a bunch of links and Music Technology geekery onto www.thegud.com. This is mainly a reference for me when I forget how to do things, or bits I have found useful in the past. So by all means drop by and have a butchers to see if there is anything which takes your fancy.
