I have read the following book a few times and think that it is the perfect manual for successful living. “Yes Man” is a laugh out loud read with a positive underlying message. Saying yes more gets the author Danny Wallace in some very interesting situations he normally wouldn’t have got into. This diary of saying “Yes” is similar in vein to the work of Dave Gorman (he co-wrote “Are you Dave Gorman”), so fans of that will certainly enjoy and Danny’s engaging writing style.
I personally have taken a lot from this book and honestly feel that it has improved my life. I now do a lot more than I used to and see friends more often and generally am a bit happier for it.
So what has this got to do with music? Well not much really, but if you are putting yourslef out there and saying yes to offers then it can only be a good thing for your music.
