Ableton Live 7 running on Acer Aspire One

February 16th, 2009

I put together this video to demonstrate Ableton Live 7 running on an Acer Aspire One netbook. As you can see from the video the screen is a little cramped but totally workable.

I have knocked together an entire tune using the netbook and a korg kaossilator in a couple of hours. Its most smooth when working with mainly audio.

I just installed it and it ran fine with audio. I found it to be very klunky with vstis and instruments though. I am about to upgrade to Windows 7 and will try that with Ableton 8 soon and report my findings…
